ABOUT ME

My name is Mandy Lieng and I am a first-generation college student studying graphic design at Northeastern University as a CAMD Dean’s Honors Fellow and Creative Leaders Scholar. I became passionate about visual communication design in high school when I started creative roles at the non-profit organizations, YouthRoots and Rocky Mountain District Key Club. Aside from design, I also love expressing myself creatively through drawing. My goal as a designer is to create meaningful and innovative designs. I hope as a graphic designer I will also produce work that can make a lasting impact on my community. I believe it is important to design for change.

Some of my hobbies include karaoke, baking, and reading. I am also a huge fan of taro boba, bears, and k-pop. I also love going on long walks while listening to music, exploring new cafes, and drawing in my sketchbook.
